MORE THAN ONCE UPON A TIMES

Once upon a time
There was a girl who said no
But she was resoundingly ignored
There was a boy who said please don't
His voice went unheard
The girl tried to scream
But hand came to muffle it
The boy tired to shout for help
It was answered with a punch
The girl tried to struggle
But he was too strong
The boy tried to fight
But by the neck he was bent over the altar
The girl cried please, your hurting me
That made the hurting become worse
The boy cried please don't hurt me anymore
He was about to suffer much more pain
The girl was threatened with death
The boy was threatened with a knife
The girl wiped off and redresses
The boy cleaned himself and gets dressed
The girl return to the world broken
The boy returns home broken in
For the girl this savagery goes on for 7 years
For the boy this barbarity continues for 8 years
40 years on the girl is tortured by her memories
40 years on the boy relives his horrors every day
The girls abusers were never punished. Their life unaffected
The boys priests never faced justice and died of natural causes
For the girl and boy the abuse has become a demon
A demon who laughs, points his finger at their guilt
He tells them that it was them at fault for it all
He makes the both feel small, dirty and worthless
The girl prays for forgiveness and peace
The boy just prays to die
The girl now a woman weeps daily
The boy now a man cries every day
Neither the girl or the boy get the help they need
Neither the boy or the girl have any support
They are shunned by most people
They are avoided for being sad and alone
The girl and the boy understand irony
And daily suffer its consequences
The are destined to spend Christmas alone
It will be a miracle if they both survive the holiday season
Such a shame the don't know each other
Separated by oceans of dark waters
They both are destined to live unhappily never more

Don't you just love a fairy tale ending
The End
