People in Houses
People in rubber houses should never jump and land
People in paper houses should not use their cooker
People in straw houses should not invite the wolf
People in glass houses should walk around naked
People in mud houses should never use the shower
People in latex houses are able to stretch
People who live in wooden houses make bad actors
People that live in cat houses smell of litter
People who live in dog houses are guilty of something
People who live in whore houses spread like butter
People in safe houses must remember the combination
People who live in shit houses need hosed down
People in tree houses shouldn't monkey around
People in corrugated houses have tinnitus when it rains
People in crack houses should wear big underwear
People who live in mad houses are not always crazy
People who live in God's house are clearly delusional
People who live in Log Houses are usually star ship captains
People who live in Fire houses sometimes get put out
People who live in Light houses get easily blown away
People who live in Bath houses are always witty and gay
I am kinda glad I'm homeless
Or is it houseless
People who don't live in houses have less to worry about

I can relate to being "houseless" as you say...
spent fifteen years that way...
I built a Vardo in 1980...
pulled it with my pick-up
problem solved... carried home with me... set up shop on the front porch... all the comforts of home.
I like your piece by the way... very clever... some of your references make me think we watch the same movies... and some made me sputter... thanks... I can always use a good giggle in the morning... Ely

I was homeless once and couch surfing but only for 6 months - Can't even begin to imagine 15 years - I'm sorry you had to go through that

Don't be, David... It was a great time... home would be where i stopped for the night... KOA, to roadside rest, to city parks set aside for travelers... when I got to a Faire... I was parked for eight to ten weeks... on a secure site with fellow artists and performers..."Hawg Heaven" in many ways... the Rennie days.
