DROWNED
And in the morning
We were still
Glued together
Dry husks
Who had sucked
Every drop
Of moisture
From each other
Would the rains
Come again?
I felt for the answer
Before you swept me away
In your flash flood
I drown this way
A good death
We were still
Glued together
Dry husks
Who had sucked
Every drop
Of moisture
From each other
Would the rains
Come again?
I felt for the answer
Before you swept me away
In your flash flood
I drown this way
A good death
