Fruit of the Spirit
My soul overwhelmed by Your love and Your grace
You entered my heart, and sin you displaced
Prayers are our way, to stay in your presence
Your word filled with truth, our heavenly essence
Whether we fall, or just stumble, You are always uplifting
In this chaotic world, we pray, you keep us from drifting
In all of the scripture, You give us assurance
to ask for Your strength and also endurance
Trials may befall us, but will not destroy
when it strengthens our faith, we count it as joy (James 1:2-4)
By the fruit of Your Spirit, giving us love, joy,and peace,
may our patience and kindness, also increase
Striving for goodness and strong self control
keeping us faithful and gentle, in our hearts, mind and soul
We give thanks to you God for the battle is won
forgiving our sins through Jesus, your sacrificed son
amen

My definition of 'sin' is "Self-Integrity-Negation" - I'm curious, does that tally with your understanding?

Josh honestly I have never thought about it like that??? But if that is what God is putting on your heart than you are blessed. He speaks to us all in our own way.
Transgression of Gods law, is the simplest way the bible puts it, and that we are all sinners. And, “the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom 6:23)
When I read Gods word and pray for his wisdom, it may speak to me differently than you, depending on where we are in our walk. That it is referred to it as the living word.
