Triple Trouble

We stooges and our life of crime
Busted together several times
Somehow we never seemed to learn
And found new ways to test the law

Drugs and booze the catalyst
Muddle-headed in our plots
All planned over countless beers
Sociopathic in our thoughts

At one point caught for carelessness
Reckless turns behind the wheel
A stolen twelve pack in the back
Then just a few days back in jail

But we somehow still got away
With breaking and then entering
Invading several darkened homes
For jewels and some easy cash

Me, I was the middle stooge
A lard ass with money for some gas
Good for making half wit plans
Then driving us into dead ends

I now reflect on wasted times
The drugs, the booze and random crimes
And we three fools who had our gall
But not any decency at all.
