A Dose of Dreams

Sometimes I fantasise we'll kiss in rain;
Then wonder if the raindrops, with their splash,
Might taste these moistened lips, not you: the grain
Of truth must drive off damp; hail would so crash
Upon your arms around me; we stand close;
And, while your tongue enjoys each kissing clue,
Suspecting lips are buds; do you suppose
You'd dub my mouth a rose? Would you construe
Flowering wet caresses otherwise?
You work your tongue far in to penetrate
The pleasure centre of each kiss; surprise
Me on my pouting lips, while we both wait
For clouds to pass right over, so we gain
A dose of dreamed for passion in this rain.
