Impatience (quattraine)

I woke today to find - impatiently,
He'd clipped a leash to the black band he keeps
Around my neck (because I'm property,
He has acquired) that each day he seeks;

I wonder if it was the tug that woke
Me up, or was it just my well-slapped mound;
But, that is unimportant: round the rooms
We go - he thinks a promenade is sound;

It means he builds up appetites and thanks
Me for all my exertions on all fours,
By having me kneel up to take the spanks.
He'll deal out to my bottom without pause;

Eventually contented with the shades
Of red he has achieved, he wipes my eyes;
And has me open wide, so he'll put paid
To rumours that impatience isn't wise.
