Things I missed, I could have done in life

Many times, in my lifetime, I always wanted to do things that today I wished I could have done.
I had opportunities that long ago were always missed and lost in the wind
That I know, I will never bring back or do as long as I am live on this planet
Many times, I had that chance, where I could have wound up in places, I could never imagine
Things that I could, would and should have done a long time ago are not a distant memory
That reminds me of what opportunities I missed in life
There were many opportunities that, I missed in my life, that no one ever bothered to tell me
No one ever showed me what was possible
Or even talked to me what I could have done, if I chose that path.
Instead, everything I could have done is lost to the history books and just a what if in my life
Many times, I regret not jumping the shark and missed all those opportunities that were at my feet.
I regretted not seizing the moment and jumping for that golden opportunity.
No one in my path of life, never bothered to show me, what was possible and what I could do.
I was left to figure it for myself and most times, by the time I knew, it was too damn Late
That opportunity had slipped past me and I knew I was never going to get it ever again.
The things I see today in what people are doing, achieving and accomplishing
Is a stark reminder of what I could have done, if I was given the chance or shown the door
It’s a constant reminder in my life, of what I could, would and should have done
Now, it’s all just a distant memory in my life.
A chapter of what all the things I could have done, but no one showed me the way.
It’s a reminder for all, that never take opportunities for granted
Take them as they come because we all have one life and we have to make everyone count.
If your given the opportunity, grab it and never ever let go of it.
You only got one shot and you best make the most of it, if it’s given to you
I never had the opportunity to do the things I wanted to do in life
I was never asked, If I wanted to be part of something
Achieve something in life
Be a leader of some kind
Or even stake a name or a claim for something in life.
All those were opportunities that I never got to do because no one showed me the way.
No one gave me that chance and all that slipped away from me
Because I was not privileged enough, born right enough or grew up in the right area enough.
It’s why, none of all that matters to me because I’m never going to get that chance again in life
I’m never going to get to relive all those things I could, would and should have done
But they are now just a distant memory of things I wish I had the chance to do
It’s why don’t miss it, if you get the shot at it.
