Mass Destruction
It seems like the wealthy stealthy control everything
Yet somehow we keep our smiles like the caged bird that sings
Making us mentally exhausted without the means to stop it
Seeking out our peace from the sheets of a book in the pulpit
Is this as good as it gets for those who are not rich
Do they craft and tailor make our pain stitch by stitch
Until insanity rips through the seams and destroys our dreams
Dreams of obtaining loot getting the boot by the dream deans
The deans of this institute who are referred to as the one percent
Have devised plans to apprehend women and men without consent
As we sprint in the rat race at an accelerated pace causing dissension
They use our drive to survive as their weapon of mass destruction
