Dark Whisper

Darkness whispers like a lullyby    
Sinister enchantment flow through the walls,
seeking retribution inside my soul.  
    
Shattering sanity like a mirror    
You couldn't stand to look at yourself; could you?    
Too honest in the flaws it reflected,I suppose,
because it only reflected back shadows.    

A darkness within that sings a
silenced dark lullyby inside its walls.    
The music echoes its derangement    
Sending shivers of insanity to appear as if it's
trying to contain a broken soul that is being
devoured by the beast himself.    
   
It scratches away    
Soft yet persistent    
Requesting freedom from inside its lonely coffin    
Darkly whispering its dysfunction    
   
Darling your soul is plagued by the shadows of your mind;
it hides behind the eyes   
It scars the skin with its sin in silvery white lines    
It glitters because there has to be light beneath the dark.
