feel free i'm no god

Feel free I'm no god
I'm just a fool who thought would change the world with his pen
I looked down upon those below my grade
I just had to take company with the fancy if I'm to be great
I turned around and took a shit into the lake
The lake I once drank from when I was thirsty
Now my lips are chapped and begin to fade
I wanna dive in and quench my thirst but I can't forget what I've done to this lake
Forsaking where I come from was my first step into my grave
Feel free I'm no god
I'm just a fool who was intoxicated by the lights of the center stage
A fool intoxicated by the screams of the crowd that came along with fame
But now Broadway lights have gone away
Every fancy "company" I kept is showing me their tail lights
I only have one place left to go
I only have to go back home
Go back home to that place where the last time they saw me I couldn't even greet anyone
Things had changed back then I couldn't afford to mingle with everyone
Low life people who'll probably die before making it in life
But here I'm today back to this place seeking Asylum
Humble and greeting everyone
That women I once called witch today I've learned to say mom
That figureless women I left for skinny, juicy lips, Brazilian hair, coca cola Bottle curves women is now I realize she was the one
Feel free I'm no god
I was just a fool who thought respect can be bought
A fool who never knew what true love cost
Feel free to judge me and place me upon a  cross
That would be merciful towards the things I've done
Feel free I'm no god
Just a fool going through his personal stuff looking for what can be bought
I'm just a vagabond
Feel free I'm no god
