Cup of Coffee Redux

I saved this cup
It was from a little deli around the corner
They were in business for close to 50 years
Business was good
The developers however wanted their space
They ended up taking the entire block
A church too that's been there over 100 years

I saved this cup
So many happy memories
Good prices, a grab and go kind of place
A quart of milk
A big sandwich for $5
Always good cheer from the guys at the register
Open 6am to 11pm

I saved this cup
It was from their deli coffee
Regular for 1.25
Flavored for 1.50
I always liked their French Vanilla
Dark no sugar
A piece of my neighborhood gone, not forgotten ...
