Waiting
Feel my heart as it fervidly beats, rampant and wild
My body aches and reverently does it long for you to enter
For then, the most unrestrained of love I know is to come
Sigh's and moans to burst forth as we sate all that is desired
Our bodies then conquered, together we lay in our lurid surrender
Left in our sweet rapture, will we then be united, as one have we become
The mingling of our sweet love , a reminder of what so beautifully transpired
My body aches and reverently does it long for you to enter
For then, the most unrestrained of love I know is to come
Sigh's and moans to burst forth as we sate all that is desired
Our bodies then conquered, together we lay in our lurid surrender
Left in our sweet rapture, will we then be united, as one have we become
The mingling of our sweet love , a reminder of what so beautifully transpired

Brava Pandora! I like your use of "reverently." To me it's a recognition of the spirituality in the experience.

Beautiful. Puts a new complexion on it being "worth the wait", as expressed in my favourite lines:
"For then the most unrestrained of love I know will come"
"For then the most unrestrained of love I know will come"

"Sigh's and moans burst forth, sating our heated desires
Both bodies then conquered and left in our lurid surrender"
No doubt that passion is by far the most powerful hunger radicated into the human nature and that it spreads throughout the being, involving mind, body and soul. It's a hunger which, even if sated, always comes back stronger. It becomes more and more demanding and the more "lurid it becomes, the better", bringing our minds to ask for more. My God, I love the way you go deeper and deeper into this mystery, becoming a highpriestess of poetical eros. We call it love making. The reason being that we give every part of our humanity freely, taking back freely. There is no limit to giving and taking. Excellent dear poetess. I bow to you. J.

As always, the most gracious of thanks from a girl winging something she has found a love for..it surely is good to be uplifted!!

If you're winging it, believe me, many should learn how to wing. Hugs J.

Beautifully composed like a Debussy nocturne of love made complete and whole.
