Slow motion
Long waits in between stations
Covert work not for the impatient
Yet here I find myself
They gave me a partner
Experienced in foreign matters
Collectively we piece things together
A chess board of sorts
Moves and countermoves
Voyeurs for the truth
Or anything that looks like the truth
Locked and loaded
Shoot to thrill
