Why I am not past the starting gate

I still dream of things that I want to do in life
I still want the things I always wanted the most in life
I want to be where I want to be in life
I want to go where I want to go
I want to make the impossible, possible
I want to make it all happen in my life
But all that is never going to happen unless I make it happen in my life
We can dream of making it big
Making a name for myself
Staking a claim on something
Or even making a mark on this planet before my time is up
But all that is not going to happen unless you make that move
When you make that move, all that you wanted in life is going to happen
It’s not going to come easy or come quick
It may take a while or even a long time
It’s gona cost you in sweat, blood, pain and even shedding a few tears, along the way
It’s gona be worth it, once you get there
Theirs’s no damn way around it
It’s gona cost ya, if you want to be where you want to be
It’s going to be damn worth it when you make the effort
When you push doubt aside and take that first step
In the damn long run, it’s going to be worth it
And nothing is going to stop you, once you get going
So, what are you waiting for, if you dream so much
If you desire all the things in life
It’s time to put your money where your mouth is and make that first step
So, what are you waiting for…………………Go for it.
