Beyond Beyond

closing eyes we feel serene
with each breath we're in a stream
flowing through and all around
an inner hush that has no sound -

floating on the energy
coalescing into the
egos forming swirling round
dissipating like the ground -

falling falling as we rise
once again we're surprised
we are conscious, we're awake
as we flow into a lake -

smooth as glass liquidity
disappears so we can see
on and on beyond beyond
the universe where we belong -

inside outside you and me
the only place there is to be
tantalizing shimmering light
illuminates, there is no night -

floating, drifting in a sea
of unseen electricity
currents flowing all around
making such a pleasant sound -
