The Game She Plays

She plays the victim very well
The role that he prefers
She doesn't seem to mind the hell
Ordered, she just defers

Yet when he ties the bonds too tight
She murmurs the safe word
He tells her that she has no right
That she's become absurd

He then relents, releases her
Finds mercy in his heart
She then reacts and calls him Sir
Still pleased to play the part

It's really just another role
Submission on demand
And she consents to take it whole
Without him life is bland.
