I am just a beginner , laying stones
for those who shall follow , then lead
after me !
We must speak our truth , take risks ,
go up against the powers that be , take
on those who think they are gods , then
treat the populace as though they were
the lords of some hell they invented , and
want us to submit to , and believe in !
I shall not give up , until my fingers no longer
work , and my tongue cleaveth to the roof of my mouth !
Each of us is an instrument of change , and we must speak
of this with the gift of imagination , visualization , writing ,
we have been given , and make this the world we want and
so much need !
