We got a say'n in tha mount'ns 'bout folk that mistreats they'ah animals. . .

You ah what ya eat - piss poor 'scuse fo a human be'n.

Animals are great judges of character.

If only they could be given robes and a gavel.

It's unwaveringly cruel that animals live out their days on concrete until slaughter, while man enjoys his recliner and beer.

And sad to never have a relationship with them beyond ownership of material property.

Many people are quick to invoke 'the cycle of life' to validate the way in which we, as humans, treat animal life in general, especially when arguing for their consumption. Though, people fail to enquire about the gravity involved with such activity. It is called a 'cycle' for a reason. Rarely do we use that same invocation to justify our own misfortunes. Rather than attempting to bring a breath of compassion and light into life, most of humanity seems insistent on appealing to a level consciousness which is inherently selfish and innately destructive.
