Closed Fist
Division always results in less than you started with
That's why unity is symbolically pic'd as a closed fist
With an open palm we'll continue to be brutally harmed
While they continue to slap the wrist of the law with long arms
With charm, the preacher man and politician both say to remain calm
Telling us to wait for Jesus to come while singing We Shall Overcome
Come on! How long are we going to dance to the beat of their drums
Reagans trickle down effect will always cause us to ingest elitist crumbs
Looking at us as dumb dumbs for waiting on the son
While they're enjoying their feast up under the sun
If you want some more and are ready to see what's in store
We gotta close that palm and prepare for a unified war

War, is not the answer, just as a closed fist isn’t the answer either !
The answer is found in clarity of the mind to attain a mutual understanding.

Wars are fought in many forms and have been the answer for every major change since beginning of humanity. You're missing the symbolic meaning of the fist. And open palm means a bunch of individuals only concerned about themselves. Whereas the fist symbolizes them coming together in unity to fight for the same cause. Your enemy will never willfully give you what you desire. You've got to obtain it with some form of fire. Nonviolent or violent is totally up to you.
