Modern Racism is Thoughtless Escapism
Why do you keep up with this racial estrangement
When different skin color's as natural as the glacial arrangements?
Why can't you learn to accept
The diversity
I'm in disbelief at these concepts
That you blurt at me
I guess it's just too much to confess
That you hurt those in need
You brush it off like you've done nothing wrong
Accuse us of racism for acknowledging your flaws
Accuse of of fascism for admonishing your thoughts
You ignore their claims that they're just following the law
When you toss them on the ground and give a fist to the jaw
Innocent or not, they're all guilty in your eyes
So proud of this great country that was built on helpless cries
Of the oppressed
Taken from their homes, given no rest
The more I think about it, the more I get depressed
Because I know it still goes on, it's just disguised with more finesse
