Hating On the Haters
You are too busy trying to find poison
And cancer among the flowers that
Cannot grow because you are
Smothering them. My boiling
Blood pressure because with a bat
You smash everything into star
Dust fragments instead of admiring
Their natural beauty. Your eyes
That are too focused on finding
Your reflection instead of rewiring
You to concentrate on the blue skies
And now. Stop bitching about the blinding
Light. Wear sunglasses and a smile
Nobody else has. Stop complaining
Just because you have a long and steep
Road. Just take that extra mile
With your head up. I am refraining
From calling you a pessimist.
I am not the one who is falling asleep.
And cancer among the flowers that
Cannot grow because you are
Smothering them. My boiling
Blood pressure because with a bat
You smash everything into star
Dust fragments instead of admiring
Their natural beauty. Your eyes
That are too focused on finding
Your reflection instead of rewiring
You to concentrate on the blue skies
And now. Stop bitching about the blinding
Light. Wear sunglasses and a smile
Nobody else has. Stop complaining
Just because you have a long and steep
Road. Just take that extra mile
With your head up. I am refraining
From calling you a pessimist.
I am not the one who is falling asleep.
