I used to go to bed and if I was thinking about baseball before I fell out, I would have a sex dream

That was 35 years ago
I thought about that when I rose this morning
As I was dreaming about health insurance and how my company screwed up my current plan
Which isn't at all true but that's what I was dreaming about

Life was simpler back in the day
Going to bed and thinking about line-ups and players playing out of position
How I would change it if I was the manager
Then like magic, a sex dream would ensue, probably about someone I was lusting about at that time

I don't enjoy sleep much these days
The pundits say you should get 8 to 8 1/2 hours as you get older
I get 6 1/2 or 7 if I'm lucky
It's boring and I've got stuff to do, poems to write, early morning is my time

Back to the sex dreams
Bats left, throws right
Waking with a raging hard-on
No thoughts about deductibles, co-insurance, stuff they won't cover .....

I am lucky if I get three or four hours sleep a night during the week. I get up at 1.45am for work. Too tired to write sometimes...still get raging hard-ons.
