Mahalo

1

My dear sister,
You were so excited
even giddy
( I can only imagine )
at the prospect of
taking wing with a lover
your love,
to a tropical paradise
contemplating what,
I can only imagine.

2

My dear sister,
I’ve been to the summit
of a diamond’s head
with wind in my hair,
my love
and a lover,
as he lifted me
from my bed
and into his eyes
of a full happiness.
