Visions at Sunrise
In the morning sunrise
When you go lightly from me
While outside it begins to rain
I get closer to madness
I'm alone and tempest tossed
My mind keeps running back to you
I can still smell you in the sheets
I feel you when I hold my pillow
I love you like no one else can
And when you leave me
I'm always half of who I am
Now I'm all alone
Raindrops running down
The window pane
I'm left to dream of you
I can't wait to wake up
To find you lying next to me
To feel you warm and inviting
To kiss your sleepy mouth
To run my fingers through your hair
For my hand to caress your face
To share our love and our bed
For us to be intertwined
Before fading into the night
Only to wake again in the morn
To a gentle kiss
And visions of you walking away
From your warm pillow
You have only just left
And already I can't wait
To see you again
When you go lightly from me
While outside it begins to rain
I get closer to madness
I'm alone and tempest tossed
My mind keeps running back to you
I can still smell you in the sheets
I feel you when I hold my pillow
I love you like no one else can
And when you leave me
I'm always half of who I am
Now I'm all alone
Raindrops running down
The window pane
I'm left to dream of you
I can't wait to wake up
To find you lying next to me
To feel you warm and inviting
To kiss your sleepy mouth
To run my fingers through your hair
For my hand to caress your face
To share our love and our bed
For us to be intertwined
Before fading into the night
Only to wake again in the morn
To a gentle kiss
And visions of you walking away
From your warm pillow
You have only just left
And already I can't wait
To see you again
