Fallen

Your tears like diamonds in the sky
Stare at a fallen star, there are no words to describe
Shimmering, like in a dream, no need to question why

This beauty held a heart of gold
Now turned to dust, scattered by gusts
Of lustful winds and troubled sins
The vulture soars, awaits main course

All beauty lost, this was the cost
Knew all along, yet you went on
You've lost your place in time and space
Now into nothing you descend
All you once were has been erased
Now there's no hope, you can't defend

Rush to the earth rapidly
You can't escape this gravity
Now burn up in the atmosphere
And for your past I'll shed no tears
