Luver’s Lost Dreams
luver’s dreams lost in time
floating among a starless night
drifting with the winds of fate
she wondering why luv has forsaken her
him not caring what future he’s lost
both turning their hearts into cold stones
will she ever get over him not seeing
the beautiful luving soul she truly is
compassion she only felt for him
he only played heart games
instead of luving her for....
for the graceful Lady she is
pure heart that poured luv out for him
nothing less than sacred devotion
a rare Lily in the garden of life
~Tell me Sir,
How could you not luv her
or want to take her for your own?
Unselfishly she offered her soul to you,
her life, heart, passion, all that she is
and has luved only you since you met,
your chasing transparent dreams,
I will never understand why.......
you let real ones be lost~

Echoing the above comments to a point
Often I guess they just feel there's something better out there when obviously there is not
It's a poor state of affairs when they just can't see the wood for the trees
Being forced to move on isn't the greatest of things to do
Thankfully time does help a little to heal broken hearts

A melancholy but beautiful write, Flower. I luv it! You use the word "compassion" here, and that's what I find in your work. You always take the edge off some of the more troubling work here, much of it being my own. Thank you for your sweetness and gentle touch.

When a beautiful flower is not properly watered, it can die because it is not meant to shine in that space. A wonderful woman who is not appreciated will be gone and shine elsewhere. She will thrive after her heartache. She will find the one who is worthy.
