My memories let go of me and I yearn for everything to not slip by my gritty hands once again. Everyone knows that their tomorrows are better than their yesterdays but I see my tomorrows are as lonely as ever, desolation in every inch of my mind. Melancholy slips into moments of laughter and of temporary contentment and I a small girl in this world in disarray. This world that creates sunlight despite dim days, this world that bites and snarls and howls at my neck… but these days will only ever get so vast the untimely demise is trying to cling to these memories and to hope for better mornings, better sunsets, and... better memories.
