[ fAwL ] Signpost

    
Wandering without direction  
maze constantly forming about  
our thought procession  
   
seemingly at times as if  
all our efforts are in vein  
   
routed through physicality  
daily replenished anew with fresh  
cells fed steady diet of blood  
borne oxygen and nutrition  
   
making the rounds  
only to repetitiously arrive  
at the same foregone    
coagulation of conclusions  
   
Along what should be  
a path of least resistance  
we become desperate for    
a signpost pointed toward  
that which is only desired    
in the moment  
   
often forgetting where we are  
---in the very Heart of what  
matters most to Us
