The Flower
Take the lily flower
soft petals velvet smooth,
scents of Arabi, dream of heaven
Stigma deep within the flower,
nectar for the bee to share.
Stamens,, pollen laden fecund
soft petals. Kneel to take,
there is no other way,
Worship nature in humility
share with butterfly and bee.
A gift perfectly wrought.

Sheer eloquence. I love flowers and especially lilies. The Oriental trumpet lily. is my favorite.
