Tenement heart

In the narrow corridors of space and time
In the depth of tenement walls
Lives a women trying to keep the world from the door
And a seeder, his only desire
Is to feel his endeavors
And a child springing from these cold empty tenement walls

The seeder would come home late
Drunk and lost his dollar to the ace of spades
Would come home whining about the hag he got married to
And a busted child he brings shame to

He would raise arm to wife
And the springing child would bare witness to
Deep inside the dark tenement walls of the springing child very heart
A hunger grows
A hunger of hate grows
A hunger of vengeances' grows
A hunger of no weakness
A hunger so dark and perverse grows
His heart now knows no love
To his fears and nightmares only death will do them apart

In the narrow corridors of space and time
In the depth of prison walls
Lives a man who tore his father's heart apart
A springing child, and a monster
