Wind Guide You

In a hidden valley under an ancient sun
A traveler walks along an unbroken road
Desperate to redeem himself, but the crime has already been done
Running from the bloody debt he must owe.
-
At dawn comes the gathering storm
The weary traveler shall spend it in solitude
Even sitting at a fire, his soul does not feel warm
Yet he shall silently accept the self-abuse.
-
May the wind guide you on your journey
Just as the sun will light your path
Once the wind blows, you’ll hear your voice echoing
Even after dusk, the moonlight shall always last.
-
Looking out at the far horizons
The traveler ponders if he shall ever find peace
Can there be a great destiny for a bastard son?
Or will he end his days in pure agony?
-
“Fear not, child of man”, say the sky above and the voice within
“You have nearly arrived at your journey’s end”
“We are aware of the crimes you have been assumed to commit”
“You have been chosen to ascend.”
-
May the wind guide you on your journey
Just as the sun will light your path
Once the wind blows, you’ll hear your voice echoing
Even after dusk, the moonlight shall always last.

Author's Note
After listening to "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" soundtrack, I absolutely adored the music and their titles. I've decided to implement certain titles into my poem, however, I know absolutely nothing about the game. In other words, my poem has nothing to do with Skyrim.
