causes nerves to stir
as amber bursts
while adjusting to surroundings;
connections just a dream
or so it would seem

unless taken hold
by two greedy hands
as snapshots of oceans
are viewed towering over
while slick & wet
makes room for revelations;
deep into surges
felt within narrowed walls
with this lust filled & needy invasion

when the land deserted
parched for fates latter rains
& mouth parted in anticipation
tasting the sweet dew
on waiting tongue
a thirst quenched
not a moment too soon

when fixed on icy blues
glazing over for any other woman
passion is finally materialized
no longer a phantom
who was all too cold to the touch

as the chill lets go
& legs part
lips hiss with a deep intake of breath
as appetites are whetted
slip, glide and connect as three rings caress
a feeling so lonely
swallowing it inside an understanding
two lovers become one
