“….you are one of few who truly know me a bit deeper “
warm and gentle winds
cross over the trough
of perilous mountains,
riding a strong front
building into
a mighty storm
my unrequited love
strong and all consuming
my soul feels
so connected to you.....
….oh such a strange delight
my desire, wanting you
I feel no apprehension or shame
knowing not his name
nor inclination towards disrespect
I steer away from your shores
and yet
this bridge be crossed
my life, lost
if I can't have you,
touch you,
feel you,
caress you.....handle you
"Porgy, I adore you"
deserving
to be the one,
delving deep inside
your pristine waters
far beyond the glow
of your cappuccino skin
reaching for the words
spoken from your lips
tasting the bittersweet drops of indigo
that drip from your pen
on to my ebony skin
you tattoo every
lustful caress
across my chest
allowing me to feel your story
killing me softly,
telling my whole life
with your song
you are
the warm and gentle winds
building into
the crescendo of a mighty storm
...and I am wanting you forever
