Author's Note
I wrote this originally as a 4-line (short poem) submission to another forum on this site. Later, I added pictorial reflection that inspired me to duplicate the poem here and thus take advantage of its visual properties.

According to C. Ward Kischer (American Life League*). "...all of life is contained within a time continuum....The continuum of human development does not cease until death..."

Life begins at conception, after which cells continue to divide and multiply in "intricate complexity" to create a complete human being (a "universe"). The "consistency" of the life cycle ensures generational succession, as ageing folk die and make way for new births (anniversaries).
