Social Media, Social Disease, Physical Items such as a Book or Newspaper ?

I still like the real thing
Seeing a teenager reading a book on the subway thrills me
Maybe it was passed down by an uncle or found in a book sale at the library
That kid will grow up with values, that's for sure

It's not easy to be differient
When I want to play music at home, it's the vintage cobalt blue disc player
Heck my wife still listens to music on a early 8 track player shaped like a space helmet
My nabe is changing, small buildings eliminated to make way for people towers
Gone is the local deli, shoe repair, mom and pops that provided cohesion

I accept change but do so with some malice
While I'm at it, teach your kids to walk
Those frigging kids riding their scooters on the sidewalk burns my ass
What's worse is when their fuck bag parents ride alongside them

I'm ranting a bit now
I knew this would happen
You know me
You knew too

End Part 1
