Hermit
There's someone out there-
With a face like yours
And a brain like yours,
Living without care,
And they don't complain
And they don't get bored.
They're someone who cares
About their face
And about their chores.
Somehow life feels fair,
But only theirs,
Yeah never yours.
Can you feel the haste
As you waste away?
Getting smaller with
Every action you don't take.
There's someone out there
With a name like yours
And a game like yours,
But they don't fight fair,
And they wear that win
Like an open sore.
They're someone who stares,
At a face like yours,
And they beg for more,
Yeah but they're too scared,
To even see
What they're living for.
Can you feel the haste
As you waste away?
Getting smaller with
Every action you don't take.
Can you shake the blame,
From becoming your name?
Or will you fall back
Into the mindset of this game?
With a face like yours
And a brain like yours,
Living without care,
And they don't complain
And they don't get bored.
They're someone who cares
About their face
And about their chores.
Somehow life feels fair,
But only theirs,
Yeah never yours.
