The Change

I've come to realize
that when the change takes over
their bodies,
it frightens me.
I try not to cry or
make a sound that could give away
my fear.
I've lost someone fimilar(again)
and gained something entirely new,
unexplored.
The next step is how to mold
the new found clay.
Discover it's twists and turns.
Rid my thumbs over the divets.
Know their smells,
the way that they speak,
listen to the ocean in breathing.
Still the change scares me.
