Yellow Canary

Ask me if I care and I'll tell no lie
Been losing my fucks since 1995
Wiped all of the tears from my tired eyes
Then told my horse let's continue to ride

I reside inside a Soldier with a King's spirit
Obstacles in my path but I'll soon clear it
Becoming a hermit cause this world's going to shit
And its bullshit has made me into one hell of a poet

I know this but I'm saying it with the upmost humility
Please don't misunderstand me; there's not a cocky bone in me
I envy no man and I'm just trying to be all that I can be
It's crazy that that alone can cause you to have enemies

Fallacies are being believed cause folks have distorted vision
Yet I have no desire and I'm not inspired to kill the transmission
Let them listen and determine for themselves the deception
Division will only occur when others have false perceptions

I'm not stressing or going to try to prove anything
Heed the lessons and absorb what knowledge brings
Truth gets revealed eventually like when the yellow canary sings
My advice to the masses is don't look like asses by joining the wrong team
