The Rabbit Hole
The Rabbit Hole
When love falls apart and goes down the rabbit hole
The place where what is left of your heart does go
What do I do with all of the broken scattered pieces?
Love may die suddenly but the pain never ceases
You try to make the best of whatever remains
As upon your lifeblood it does slowly drain
Surrounded by darkness capturing no light
Crying alone over nothing every single night
Feeling the heals of death breathing behind
Knotted by the memories of which you pine
Steadily devolving into what you wish you could be
A person's pleasant remaining random memory
When love falls apart and goes down the rabbit hole
The place where what is left of your heart does go
What do I do with all of the broken scattered pieces?
Love may die suddenly but the pain never ceases
You try to make the best of whatever remains
As upon your lifeblood it does slowly drain
Surrounded by darkness capturing no light
Crying alone over nothing every single night
Feeling the heals of death breathing behind
Knotted by the memories of which you pine
Steadily devolving into what you wish you could be
A person's pleasant remaining random memory
