Quantum Love
In the many-worlds interpretation of the quantum state, each possibility exists as a separate world with its own history and timeline.
In the world of the multiverse, infinite possibilities exist – entire universes in which we exist together or not.
There is an infinite number of universes where we never speak, never interact – for a variety of reasons.
There are infinite universes where I reach out to you, and you blow me off completely.
There is an infinite number of universes where you reach out to me, but I say, “Oh that’s nice” and we never speak again.
There are 1000 universes where we run into each other in person somewhere, and never notice each other.
There are 1000 universes where we are great friends, and nothing more.
There are 1000 universes where we met between relationships and fell madly in love and stayed together forever - or until one of us dies.
There are 1000 universes where I have already come to you and fucked you madly.
There are 1000 universes where one of us has caused the other’s life to devolve to chaos.
There are 1000 universes where you are my beautiful collared boy at my side 24/7.
There are 1000 universes where we travel the world and fuck every different place we can.
There are 1000 universes where we spend one amazing weekend together and never see each other again.
There are 1000 universes where each of our fantasies is happening right now.
And there is 1 universe in which we have what we have.
It’s the thought of all those other universes existing right now, in the quantum, that make what we have in this one bearable, acceptable, even a gift unto itself.
In an infinite number of universes, I have experienced a lifetime with you that includes every intimacy that I can possibly imagine – sexual, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual. I lost myself to lust and love – the most appealing state in which to exist.
That’s why I appreciate you. That’s why I am grateful to you. That’s why I am in love with you, choose to love you, just for who and what you are.
