I'm stuck
Stuck in a rut
A rut of my own doing
Of my own making
If I made it
Maybe I can unmake it
Undo it or not
To get unstuck
I saw the prat
The prat at work
And he saw me
We said nothing
We had nothing to say
To each other
There was nothing meaningful
Between us
I imagined him asking
What I was doing
I imagined answering
"Just trying to mind my own business
It's taken me 25 years
And 2 mental breakdowns
To realize that -
Best to mind my own business"
