Locked Doors

Genius phrases stuck in lost thoughts and missing pages.
Feeling ancient.
Chasing time it's been misplacing all the fucks I gave, the bucks I've saved, this livings all been wasted.
But still a thought occurred to me, and once again I just can't place it, can I face it? Spending every evening faded, don't ya hate it.
But you really can't replace it.
Don't mistake it, yours to have but you can't take it; better break it.
Your brain's a better place without the darkness.
You can taste it, but still can't seem to shake it.
Overtake it.
Turn self destruction to creative.
Make a statement; let the world know it's too complacent.
Learn to care for the adjacent that get stuck out on the pavement.
Back and forth I'm pacing, unaware of what I'm saying, but whatever it may be has got my family praying.
Don't hate that I'm abstaining, it's just that making it is straining, I won't waste breath on complaining.
Closer to the edge don't mind me I'm just hanging.
They said the world is changing, but from where I sit the shit is still remaining.
Who the fuck chose he who's reigning? See, ignorance is staining.
You work towards your dreams and goals and me?

I'll just be waiting.

 There's no sense in explaining.
Truth be told I've felt this urge and can't seem to contain it.
I shake my head at socialites that specialize in feigning.
Best save your breath on wasted thoughts, they've no clue what your saying, more focused on who's paying. Playing petty and
degrading
