Her

As you walked into your apartment you see her
The girl from across the hall with all the bruises on her
You want so bad to ask but instead walk right past her
You can't help but wonder who does that to her

Later you sit watching TV you suddenly hear her
You jump up and run to your door and hear her
A man kicking and punching her and you want to save her
Shoving the man to the wall the stand in front of her

"You got yourself a boyfriend." The man laughs at her
"Please Danny, don't hurt him." Silently comes from her
"You'll be sorry!" The man spats as he spits at her
When he is gone you turn to her wanting to comfort her

"Thank you Kole." She whispers as you lift her
"Your welcome Taylor." You smile as you wipe some blood from her
After telling her to lock the door you take one last look at her
Hearing the lock click you are happy you helped her

Later that evening the sound of sirens makes you worry about her
The lights flashing out your window makes you know their for her
Quickly you run out into the hall to see the door open and her
Blood all over you wrap your arms arpund her

You cry out and beg for some answer from her
The medics and cops take you away from her
"Son do you know her?" The officer whispers looking at her
"Yeah, her name is Taylor." You answer as your think of her

At the hospital you silently say a prayer for her
That's when the officer drags that boy in and you know he did this to her
"Is this the boy Son?" The officers asks and you nodd wanting to advange her
That's when the doctor comes out with a grim composure and you hope its not her

"There's nothing I could have done." He whispers wiping away a tear for her
In the back of your mind you want to die with her
Your really wished you could have saves her
At least she's with God who will be there to love her
