Jailbreak

[verse i]
an ajar door
between me and the sky
an endless silence
keeps me tied in my mind
all that followed me
trying to hold me down
I could just walk out of here
but I can't go now

[chorus]
on my own, I forged this cage of mine
locked me inside for a long long time
time has come to set me free of the ties
break this silence between yours and mine
a storm is sewing the sea to the sky
painting  the shadows with colours of light
pain is cruel so is the night
am getting closer to the edge of the light

[verse ii]
the lilac rays on
the vermillion sky
the torrid wind blows
drawing vertical lines
on the door of my cage
I built for my shame
now shattered and collapsed
I hear you calling my name

[chorus]
on my own, I forged this cage of mine
locked me inside for a long long time
time has come to set me free of the ties
silence is broken so as the lies
a storm is sewing the sea to the sky
painting  the shadows with colours of light
pain is ending so is the night
am getting closer to the edge of the light

[outro]
am standing on the edge of the light
