Awareness
The Bareness Of Your Skin ;
Embrace Me In Your Comfort Station ,
I Need Confirmation
Of My And Your Embodiment ;
Messages Sent By Touch
Fingertips Brush Red Painted Lips ,
Kisses Like Some Body Mints
Melting On My Tongue
Releasing Promises Unsung
Sighs To Make One Cry
With Sensual Notes
Once Morose Now Inflamed
Passion Rising , Synchronizing
As I Breathe Your Name
Just The Same ,
As I Breathed It Long Ago ,
And You Know

Again And Again
No End

I , as many , love the art and energy of Love...
The sensual , as sensory experience , and the
awareness of such , through the body , is as
important as the consciousness experience ;
Though many see them as one , consciousness
and awareness are two different things , though
there is a unity which may be attained ;
There has long been a subtle / not so subtle war
between the two , centered as I , and many others
see it as a war against the feminine energy , which
is centered in the body...
This is not meant to say men cannot relate to just
embodiment , nor women are limited to such...
Yet , there is a propensity toward logic and consciousness ,
and ascension , and a devaluing of body experience and
sensory input , often today led by religion ;
This , I believe is a downfall of humanity , not the opposite
propagated view...so this was the basis for my penning of
this poem...
I am most pleased you enjoyed it !

I cannot remember which guru it was that said it...
But I remember hearing one say :
"You can go up to the top of the mountain , meditate ,
and study with your guru for years...or you can spend
one year living as a family man , loving , nurturing , and
fully immersing yourself in a relationship , and learning
how to be in body...both ways , you will attain"
I always loved that...neither way is better...
Yet I had a friend , who was a family man for years , then
took a years vow of silence ( Sai Baba follower ) and was
going to visit him after , in India I believe...
He sent him a sealed letter through a friend who traveled
to see him , and got an audience with him...Sai Baba looked
at him when he went to hand him the letter , and said :
"Tell Mickey he does not need to come see me ; He has
already attained , by his family dharma"...;)
