Ink Everlasting

She inks her poems on her skin
Extreme content, some fun and sin
A few words pertaining to her past
Then prized hopes and dreams that may well last:

"I was a whore, and little more
Thought I really knew the score
Pimps and johns, the whole terrain
Until I finally felt the strain

Now I give it all away
And, in return, this perfect day
I'm free in every real sense
With love and trust at no expense."
