Walk Through The Swamp

You can feel it in the air.
The stench goes on for miles.
Rotting decay is everywhere.
It's putrid, wretched, vile.

And every step you take.
Closer to the source.
You feel your soul begin to break.
Under the deathly force.

Bleached white bones.
Made from solid stone.
Rising to the air.
Over the broken heads.

Broken remains charred.
Wrapped in stripes and stars.
All who oppose beware.
We ridicule our dead.

Twist our children on display.
To wrench security away.
Mock as mad the ones who know.
No telling how deep we can go.

Welcome to the swamp.
Come take a walk with me.
No one may pull the plug.
On this insanity.

Wash the wasting masses.
Underneath the rug.
This war is of classes.
And they're the fucking bugs.

Use the feeble, hold them high.
For as long as we must.
Then crashing down we let them die.
And turn their trust to slush.

Weaken forces to protect.
Freedom crumbles in neglect.
Warp all the dichotomies.
And kill anyone who disagrees.

Welcome to the swamp.
Come take a walk with me.
No one may pull the plug.
On this insanity.

Welcome to the swamp.
Come take a walk with me.
No one may pull the plug.
On this insanity.

Walk into the swamp.
Now give your soul to me.
No one may pull the plug…
Oh God, he pulled the plug!
To end insanity!
