Extromeda

The vision there is no twin to
The one eye that sees all
It ain't roaming quite it like it used to be
The inner ain't inert
All energy centered
On emptiness,
With or without intentions, surely will end in entropy

Surf...
All through the internet
Or scour the earth...

What you'll never see blossom
Is knowledge, straight from the dirt

Who sees the bluff
When seas crawl up
I hope you Romans
Can swim for months

We fall back into vacuum
Follow light like we're moths
Won't put out the fires we started
Like it's sacrilege to the stars

There's too much light
Such that I
Can't help falling further
Into the night
Searching for safety
Digging like worms
If it's so bright
Surely we'll burn

Every time we close our eyes we die
But now we know what it sounds like when god after god cries

I guess I'll wake up early
I guess I'll wear these hides
But then I'll learn to hide better
And then I'll be alive
I've got to take a step that's worth it
I've got to multiply when I want to divide
But when I get to where I've been before
The sparkle in my eye will put shame to the flames and torches

There's a misguided mob
Assembling on Great Porches
Carbon fiber disguises
And a knack for extortion
You're looking for white knights
But, hey! Here comes black Porsches
No trenchcoats, and stormtroopers this time
Just sun camouflage and some fine print

Trying to build a better mountain
Don't. Make. Me. Come down there

And if your haven can't be found
Don't run to the hills or halls
You're bound to be struck down by what falls from the sky
Don't send a raven
It's too late now
You're bound to the thing you believe is more real than the great beyond

And that pale blue dot you haunt don't care what side you're on

This is not the spark you're looking for
