Before the Twilight

your supine body
baring mine
your aquiver lips
muttering in my ears
our thoughts are
mutually buried
in a deep sonder
an ineffable thirst
drying my breath
serendipity is far
away from your reach

and,
I fed my thirst...

a sonorous cry
felt familiar...

the ethereal feeling
dampening my throat
satisfying me
like a petrichor
on a barren land
